The Messermeister Paring Knife is a small, lightweight knife with a fine edge.
You will find yourself using the Messermeister Paring Knife daily for a variety of tasks requiring accuracy. Use this little prep knife for mincing, chopping, peeling, and slicing produce. It has a fine edge blade that tapers to a point. It is designed to be an all-purpose knife, similar to a chef’s knife, except smaller.
Available with a 3-1/2″ or 4″ spear point blade, the paring knife is part of the San Moritz Elite knife collection. Knives in this “family” have been individually handcrafted by cutlery artisans in Solingen, Germany for more than a century. They feature a completely molded, ergonomic, and contemporary handle. The blade, bolster, and tang are one piece, hammer forged from a single billet of the finest German steel alloy. Blades are hardened to 56 on the Rockwell hardness scale, meaning that the knife will hold its edge for a long time.
